1.DAINTREE RAINFOREST AND CASSOWARY FALLS DAY TOUR

Travelling north from Cairns and the beaches in air-conditioned comfort, you will visit the pretty
seaside village of Palm Cove, before taking the heritage listed coastal road and view many unspoilt beaches en- route marvelling at how the rainforest meets the sea, a sight unparalleled anywhere.
Your relaxing day takes you through the sugar town of Mossman and it's rare ‘Rain Trees’ to the quaint Daintree Village. Here you have time to unwind before taking a leisurely wildlife spotting cruise on
the majestic Daintree River after which you enjoy your lunch (own expense) at one of the tropical cafe's in the village.
Your afternoon begins with a visit to a privately owned farm, where the very knowledgeable owner tells you stories of the local folklore, whilst taking you on the ‘Riverhome Rambler’, a ride through the
rainforest to the picturesque Cassowary Falls.

At this beautiful spot, enjoy a swim in the cooling, safe, crocodile free, waters beneath or take one of the easy rainforest walks. 2.KURANDA SCENIC RAILWAY AND SKYRAIL RAINFOREST CABLEWAY. SELF GUIDED TOUR.

On your Kuranda day Tour to the village in the Rainforest you travel up via the Kuranda Scenic Railway with a return on The Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. With a choice of 2 trains at 08.30 and 09.30 you are collected from your accommodation and taken to Freshwater Station where your fabulous journey begins on the Kuranda Scenic Railway to Kuranda - "The Village in the Rainforest". You have a choice of a seat in the standard carriage or an upgrade to Gold Class, an exclusive carriage, here you are seated in armchairs and served refreshments. A great way to celebrate a special occasion.
Arriving in Kuranda you will have either 3 or 4 hours free time to wander this small, pretty village with many attractions to enjoy. Visit the Heritage Markets, Butterfly Sanctury, Birdworld, Koala Gardens or brave The Venom Zoo! Relaxing river cruises are available or walks deep into the rainforest with it's amazing trees and plants, sounds and smells.
Your, awe inspiring adventure continues when you board Skyrail Rainforest Cableway at 14.30 from Kuranda. Riding above the rainforest canopy at incredible heights, you travel at a safe, gentle speed, gasping at the vast landscape dissapearing over the horizon.
With the option of 2 further stops en-route to view The Barron Falls via boardwalks, the final leg gives you a breathtaking panoramic view of the stunning coastline before you.
